Rand Trading Group is the Discord community of Crypto Rand, a crypto analyst whose website says he has about 357,000 followers on X. The server has been running since 2017 and has about 39,000 members. Free members get daily analysis; Premium members get real-time setups. So is Rand's Premium worth $125 to $200 a month, and what are the alternatives?
We went through its official Discord listing, its website and Premium page and its public profiles. This review covers what is free, what you pay for, what is missing and who it suits.
This review is written by the Bullstar Signals team. We run a competing signals service on Telegram, so we have a bias, and we want you to know that up front. Everything below is based on what anyone can see on Rand Trading Group's public Discord listing, its website and its public profiles in November 2026. We did not buy a paid plan for this review. Check every point yourself.

What Is Rand Trading Group?
Rand Trading Group, also called Rand Group, started in 2017 as a community to teach trading and investing. It is built around Crypto Rand, who posts charts on X, and a team its website describes as five dedicated analysts. Its Discord listing says the team has been investing since 2013.
The server covers far more than crypto. Daily analysis includes stocks, ETFs, macro and AI sector research, and members can post their own setups and get feedback from the team. There is also a blog and a free weekly newsletter.
Free vs Premium: What You Get
| Free Discord | Premium | |
|---|---|---|
| Daily technical analysis | Yes | Yes |
| Market recaps and research | Yes | Yes |
| Post your charts for feedback | Yes | Yes |
| Real-time trade setups | No | Yes, with entries, targets and stops |
| Direct access to the analysts | No | Yes |
| Leverage plays and early project research | No | Yes |
| Weekly newsletter and recaps | Free newsletter | Yes |
The website sums it up itself: "Free members get the analysis. Premium members get the plays." It promises 100+ setups a month across stocks, crypto, ETFs and AI.
Rand Trading Group Price
| Plan | Price | Billed |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $200/month | Every month |
| Quarterly | $175/month | Every 3 months |
| Annual | $125/month | Once a year |
Even the yearly plan works out at $1,500 a year. We could not find a refund policy on the Premium page, so read the terms before you pay.
What Is Missing: a Track Record
Rand's marketing leans on reach, for example "This is where Rand's 357K followers come to trade" and trade calls "before they move". What we could not find is a record of past Premium setups showing how many hit their targets and how many were stopped out.
A large following proves people like the analysis, not that the trades make money. Before paying this much, ask the team for a full list of past Premium setups with results, losses included.
Discord Check: How Rand Trading Group Scores
We score every server in our ranking of the best crypto signals Discord servers on the same six checks, up to 2 points each, based on public information. Here is how Rand Trading Group did:
| Check | Points | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Size | 2/2 | About 39,000 members, plus a large audience on X. |
| Results | 0/2 | No public record of Premium setups or their results. |
| Risk | 1/2 | Premium setups come with stops, according to the website, but they can't be checked from outside. |
| Free | 1/2 | Free Discord with daily analysis; the trade setups are paid. |
| History | 2/2 | Running since December 2017. |
| No hype | 1/2 | Mostly calm and educational, but marketing built on follower numbers and calls "before they move". |
That adds up to 7 of 12 points, or 5.8/10.

Is Rand Trading Group Legit or a Scam?
Rand Trading Group is a real, long-running community, not a scam. It has a well-known analyst behind it, a free Discord with daily analysis, and it has been active since 2017.
The question is value, not honesty. Without a published record of the Premium setups, you can't tell from outside whether $125 to $200 a month pays for itself. Use the free Discord for a few weeks first.

Best Rand Trading Group Alternatives
Rand Trading Group scored 5.8/10 in our Discord ranking, mainly because it has no public track record and Premium is expensive. These alternatives score at least as well, and all of them cost less.
| Name | Platform | Score | Price | Link |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bullstar Signals (our channel) | Telegram | 9.2 | $49/month | Join free |
| Axion Trading | Discord | 9.2 | $70/month | Join server |
| CryptoTraders.com | Discord | 8.3 | From $22.99/month | Join server |

| Rand Trading Group | Discord | 5.8 | $125 to $200/month | Join server |
1. Bullstar Signals (our channel)
Crypto futures signals on coins listed on Binance Futures, each with an entry zone, several targets and a stop loss. Every closed VIP signal since 2022 is listed one by one on our results page, losing trades included, and a trade only counts as a win when it reaches Target 3 or higher.
Why it is an alternative: if you want crypto signals you can check, for a fraction of the price: $49 a month or $199 lifetime, with every VIP result since 2022 published, losses included.
What to keep in mind: it is on Telegram, not Discord, and our record is published by us, not audited. Follow the free channel and check the results yourself before joining VIP.
2. Axion Trading
The largest crypto signals server we checked, running since 2020. Every call has an entry plan, an invalidation level and targets, and its website publishes a ledger of every closed call per analyst, losses included. Read our full Axion Trading review.
Why it is an alternative: it publishes a ledger of every closed call per analyst, losses included, so you can see results before paying.
What to keep in mind: Premium costs $70 a month on the monthly plan, and the ledger is self-published.
3. CryptoTraders.com
A large crypto trading community running since 2019, with analyst calls, four trading algorithms and market scanners. It publishes a record of every algorithm trade, wins and losses, and every alert has an entry, a stop loss and targets. Plans start at $22.99 a month, with a 7-day free trial. Read our CryptoTraders review.
Why it is an alternative: it has analyst calls plus four algorithms with a public record of every algorithm trade, from $22.99 a month with a 7-day free trial.
What to keep in mind: its ads use big numbers like "+2,906%", so focus on the trade record.
4. THE BIRB NEST
One of the oldest crypto trading communities on Discord, running since 2017 and linked to analyst CryptoBirb. It offers calls, webinars, mentoring and daily reports, and its website shows a table of calls with wins and losses. Read our The Birb Nest review.
Why it is an alternative: it is another long-running community from 2017 with a well-known analyst, but it shows a table of calls with wins and losses and has free calls through partner exchanges.
What to keep in mind: Nest Club costs $99 a month, and its published stats are monthly summaries, not a full log.

Final Thoughts
Rand Trading Group gives a lot away for free, and its daily analysis is a good reason to join the Discord. Premium is a different story: it costs $125 to $200 a month and there is no public record to show how its setups have done. Stay free until the team can show you every past setup, wins and losses. If you want checked results, there are cheaper options that already publish them.
This review is based on public information as of November 2026 and may change. It is not financial advice. Crypto trading, especially with leverage, carries a high risk of loss.
