Fed. Russian Insiders, often shortened to FRI, is one of the oldest names in Telegram crypto signals. Its free channel has around 121,000 subscribers, it says it has been running since 2017, and its posts advertise 94% signal accuracy and profits of thousands of percent. So is Fed. Russian Insiders legit, or is it a scam?
We went through their public Telegram channel and checked each claim against what you can actually verify. This review covers what the channel posts, what VIP costs, what the big numbers really mean, and who it suits.
This review is written by the Bullstar Signals team. We run a competing signals service, so we have a bias, and we want you to know that up front. Everything below is based on what anyone can see on the Fed. Russian Insiders public Telegram channel in October 2026, plus public directory listings. We don't claim anything we can't point to, and we suggest you check every point yourself.
One of the oldest names in Telegram crypto signals, with good chart analysis on major coins. But the free channel shows only winning results, we found no public track record, and its "94% accuracy" claim can't be checked. Many of its free signals are on small, highly volatile coins, and the channel heavily promotes exchange bonuses through referral links.

What Is Fed. Russian Insiders?
Fed. Russian Insiders is a crypto trading channel on Telegram. Its description says "Est. 2017", which makes it one of the older channels still active. Third-party directories describe it as a small, Moscow-based team of traders who use Fibonacci and price-action analysis. Despite the name, it has no connection to the US Federal Reserve or to any government. The name is branding.
Like most big channels, FRI uses the free-plus-VIP model. The free channel, @fedrussianinsiders, posts market analysis, some signals and results. Paid VIP access is sold through a Telegram bot, @FRIVIPBot. Our guide on free vs VIP signal groups explains how this model usually works.
What the Free Channel Actually Posts
Most posts in the free channel are chart analysis, not signals. A typical post covers a coin like BTC, ETH or SOL and gives levels to watch, for example a level price should hold above, a target if it does, and a level that would break the setup. The analysis is clear and often useful, especially on major coins.
From time to time the channel also posts full signals. The ones we found, on coins like BULLA, CHILLGUY and BTR, had an entry, a stop loss, 3-5x leverage and a long list of targets ending in "OPEN". It's good that they include a stop loss. But these are small, very volatile coins, and the targets reach several times the entry price, which suits only a small part of a trader's account.
The results posts tell you a lot about the channel's style. They show only winners, with numbers like "Profit: 6,255% on 5x lev". We didn't see a single post reporting a stop loss being hit.
How Much Does Fed. Russian Insiders VIP Cost?
FRI doesn't publish a full price list on a website. Here is what we could find:
| Plan | Price | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Lifetime | $549 (shown as "was $2,200") | FRI free channel, October 2026 |
| Monthly | about $260 | Third-party directory listing |
| 3 Months | about $420 | Third-party directory listing |
The lifetime offer was promoted in the free channel as reduced from $2,200, a common way to create urgency. The full and current price list is only shown inside @FRIVIPBot, and we found no refund policy. Ask about both before you pay, and pay only through the official bot.
The 94% Accuracy and 6,255% Profit Claims
FRI promotes "Signal Accuracy: 94%" and calls itself the "Top #1 trading channel in crypto for the past 8 years". We looked for the data behind these claims and found none we could check: no public list of every signal, no record of losing trades and no independent audit.
The profit numbers need context too. "6,255% on 5x leverage" means the coin's price rose about 1,251% from entry to its high. That's a real move, but the figure assumes you held every coin to the very top, and it's multiplied by leverage. One post even suggested a $1,000 position "would be sitting on $62,550". That's a best-case calculation in hindsight, not what most followers actually made. Our leverage guide explains why leveraged percentages look so much bigger than real account gains.
When a channel only posts winners, every channel looks like a 94% channel. The losing trades are what tell you if a strategy really works. Read more in why a 95% win rate proves nothing.
The Exchange Bonus Promotions
Many FRI posts end with links to sign up for exchanges, advertised as "BingX ($5k Bonus)" and "BloFin ($3k Bonus + NO KYC)". These are referral links, so the channel earns a commission when you sign up and trade. That is common in this space, but it's worth knowing, because it means the channel earns when you trade more, whether you win or lose.
Two tips: big "up to" bonuses usually come with trading volume conditions, and an exchange advertised as "no KYC" may give you less protection if something goes wrong. Choose an exchange for its safety, liquidity and fees. Our exchange comparison can help.
Transparency Score: How Fed. Russian Insiders Scores
We score every channel on the same six public criteria we used in our ranking of the best crypto signals Telegram groups. Each one scores 2 points (yes), 1 point (partly) or 0 points (not seen or not verifiable), and the total out of 12 is converted to a score out of 10.

- The free signals we found did include a stop loss
- Large, active free channel you can follow before paying
- You trade on your own exchange account
- Only winning results are posted in the free channel
- No public track record, so the "94% accuracy" can't be checked
- Many free signals are on small, very volatile coins
- Heavy promotion of exchange bonuses through referral links
- One promoted exchange is advertised as "NO KYC"
- Full VIP price list is only shown inside the bot
Is Fed. Russian Insiders Legit or a Scam?
Based on what we could see, Fed. Russian Insiders is a real, long-running channel, and its analysis on major coins has real value. We found no evidence that it takes money and disappears.
But the way it presents results makes it impossible to judge its signals. Only winners are posted, there's no track record, the accuracy claim can't be checked, and much of the channel's content pushes exchange sign-ups. So the honest answer is: real channel, unproven performance. Follow the free channel for a few weeks, write down every signal yourself, including the ones that go wrong, and only then decide.
Watch Out for Fake FRI Accounts
Large channels attract impersonators. Be careful with accounts that copy the FRI name or logo, or that message you first offering "VIP signals" at a discount.
- Only use the contacts listed in the official channel description.
- Check usernames letter by letter. A copycat may change one letter or add an underscore.
- Never send money to a wallet someone gave you in a private message.

Fed. Russian Insiders vs Bullstar Signals
Since we run a competing service, here is a straight comparison. Check both and decide for yourself.
| Fed. Russian Insiders | Bullstar Signals | |
|---|---|---|
| Stop loss on signals | ~ On the signals we saw, but most posts are analysis | ✓ On every signal |
| Losses published | ✗ None seen | ✓ Every closed signal, one by one |
| Full public track record | ✗ Not found | ✓ Yes, since 2022, on our results page |
| Live results channel | ~ Wins only | ✓ @BULLRESULT after TP3 or SL |
| When a trade counts as a win | Not stated | Only at Target 3 or higher |
| Exchange referral promotions | Frequent (BingX, BloFin) | Not part of our signals |
| Monthly price | about $260 | $49 |
| Lifetime price | $549 | $199 |
| Free channel | @fedrussianinsiders (about 121K) | Bullstar Signals (79.5K+) |
The main difference is transparency. At Bullstar Signals, every closed VIP signal since 2022 is listed publicly, stop losses included, and a trade only counts as a win once it reaches Target 3. Our record is published by us and not audited by a third party, so check it yourself the same way you'd check anyone else's.
Follow our free Telegram channel for a few weeks, compare the signals with our public results, and only upgrade if the numbers convince you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Fed. Russian Insiders legit?
Fed. Russian Insiders is a real, long-running Telegram channel with useful market analysis. But we found no public track record and no losing trades reported in its free channel, so its performance claims, including "94% accuracy", can't be verified. Treat it as unproven until you can check a full history.
Is Fed. Russian Insiders a scam?
We found no evidence that it is a scam in the sense of taking money and disappearing, and it has been active since 2017. The concerns are about transparency: only wins are shown, there is no full record, and the channel earns from exchange referral links. Test it with the free channel before you pay.
How much does Fed. Russian Insiders VIP cost?
In October 2026 the free channel advertised lifetime VIP at $549, shown as reduced from $2,200. Directory listings mention about $260 per month and about $420 for 3 months. The full, current price list is only shown in their @FRIVIPBot, so check there before paying.
Who runs Fed. Russian Insiders?
The channel lists @DmitriFRI as its support contact and @FRIVIPBot for VIP sign-ups. Directory listings describe it as a small team of traders. We found no public names or verified trading history for the team.
Is the 94% signal accuracy real?
The 94% figure comes from the channel itself. Without a full list of every signal, including the ones that hit the stop loss, nobody outside the team can recalculate it. A win rate without the losses next to it tells you very little.
Should I sign up for BingX or BloFin through their links?
The bonus links in the channel are referral links, so the channel earns when you sign up. That doesn't make the exchanges bad, but choose an exchange for its safety and fees, not for a bonus. Be extra careful with any exchange advertised as "no KYC".
What is a good alternative to Fed. Russian Insiders?
If you want a stop loss on every signal and a full public track record with losses included, Bullstar Signals publishes every closed VIP signal since 2022, with plans from $49 a month. You can test it in our free channel first.
Final Thoughts
Fed. Russian Insiders has staying power and solid chart analysis, which is more than many channels can say. What it doesn't give you is a way to check its results. With only winners on display and no track record, its 94% claim is a marketing number, not a fact you can verify.
Our advice is the same for every signals group, including ours: test the free channel, track the results yourself, and never pay for a win rate you can't check.
